Do Google and Garmin still not get on ?

The Garmin users amongst you will probably remember the huge outcry when Garmin switched from Google Maps to Microsoft's Bing for Garmin Connect. I'm wondering if there is still some animosity as Chrome appears to be telling me to shove my Garmin recorded activities up my backside :-
