Crudcatcher monthly ride (Sherwood pines 4/3/12)

Hopefully, if it works you should have this on your calendar.
As I'm nowhere near Sherwood Pines (In fact, I've no idea where it is) I'm gonna leave this for someone else to lead etc.
Might be a good idea to bookmark this post as it's a long way off!

Not sure whether I can do that - same as Gaz, Saturdays are quite tricky for me due to parental duties - Sundays better (weekdays best but doubt there'd be takers for that).
Can be changed accordingly, if everyone's ok for Sunday?
have to check mrs maks rota, lil miss maks swimming galas, planets alighned etc etc
Also cant get new bike till april so i would be rattling around on my old gt outpost, yeah yeah yeah FU v brakes are retro chic :P
Never ridden there as not seen the point as I've the Peak District on my doorstep. But a Crudcatcher ride is a draw.

local you say? I nominate you as ride leader then
I know my way round the red route and can get round it in about 50 mins.
I normally do the red followed by the blue which works out about 17 miles.
I just don't really know where all the hidden singletrack is!

Any plans for something a little sooner? Though I wouldn't be organising anything, my skills in that department are much like my riding skills...
Go big or go home.
possible for either but would need to know as mrs maks will need to switch a shift
Yes, I'm going to change this to Sunday, I think this will still work for everyone.

It is also my local, when I was spending time there over September I was doing a double loop of the red, took around 2 hours.
EDIT: Scratch that, I'm a muppet, I'm off to Morzine that weekend!
Sherwood Pines after all the wet weather we've had....that'll be a no from me :?
The trail was pretty dry and I didn't even really have to clean the bike after.
You're saying no to an event almost 2 months away because of the recent wet weather???
Go big or go home.
It's about 40 mins away and I avoid the place like the plague
Dude, it really doesn't get a muddy as you'd think. There's only ever one part thats so muddy you have to walk though it. Besides, most of the circuit is quite sandy and dries out real quick anyway. But I suppose of you live 40 mins away then it is a bit of a trade off.
I've been a loads of times over the years and I've never really rated it.I've got Wharney Woods 5 mins away if I want that sort of thing....and I haven't been in there for over a year
Go big or go home.
I ride Wharney when it's not a bog....which isn't often
Now for sale Fatty
Afan is on the rides list, as is CYB (I think) not sure Llandegla is but I can add it...
