Looking for advice on buying a 2nd hand road bike.

I've had a quick look through the forum/internet and found not much advice for buying a cheap second hand road bike under 200 quid except for DONT DO IT :P
All I'm looking for is a bike to ride about 20 miles a day, 3 times a week max (my weekly commute)
I would spend more but I'm off travelling in august and just want the bike to up my fitness level.
Was looking on Gumtree and found these 2 bikes. Just wanted to know if these were fair prices:

Any help would be appreciated as I have no prior knowledge in buying road bikes.
