Creeking bottom bracket

Can anyone help me...the bottom bracket on my Ribble audax starts to 'creek' and 'crack' when the pressure is put on it, i.e. when beginning to climb or put the ' hammer ' down a bit. It is fitted with a Tiagra double crankset. It did go back to Ribble to be fixed..but within a day of getting it back started doing it again..and I'm not prepared to go the 80 mile round trip to Ribble , if I or my LBS can sort it. The bike is 9 months old and has approx. covered about 400miles .

The solution is often to make sure everything is really tight.0 -
I had a similar problem with my nearly new Fixie, drove me mad, replaced bottom bracket and dismantled and rebuilt several times then found out it was actually my seat that was loose!!0

And not just the bottom bracket. Check your QRs (try some others if you can), chainring bolts, stem and bars, seatpost, seat clamp etc.0 -
Make sure the threads on the BB cups are greased and tight, mine did it, I greased the threads and no more noise.0

I dismantled my bottom bracket etc etc. turned out the noise was in fact a bit of cr@p in the pedal bearing. just drenched it in wd40 and then oiled it. some pedal bearings are serviceable , some not.
noise gone.
the other place is where the front mech bolts onto the bottom of the seat tube. if those bolts get loose it makes a similar noise sometimes.
other than that this is my favourite website for curing annoying noises;
