Double chainring, what sizes??

I have a double chainring and bash setup, and am now converting to ten speed, i currently run 22 34 with 11 34 out back, but i'm now thinking 24 34, with 11 36 out back any thoughts on what size rings i should be running and would 24 34 be ok????? help, too much choice is a bad thing..! :shock:

Expensive conversion once you factor mech, shifters etc in.

My rear mechs knackered and my drivetrain needs a bit of love anyhow after using the same chain for about a year, so i thought i'd upgrade while i was at it, only really the shifter that isn't gone...
Now you mention it no, the combo i have is fine, i guess i was thinking the extra cog out back would change everything...!
