frame for alfine

I'm looking to get a hub gear frame, ideally a hardtail but might have to consider a non-suspension hybrid. I was thinking of an on-one inbred but I'm not sure about the swapout dropouts, think an eccentric bottom bracket would be better. Also, the inbreds don't seem to have made any consideration for attaching mudguards which seems a bit silly. Just wondering what the options are. The Carrera subway 8 sounded promising but doesn't seem available any more. Ideally I'd like a Thorn but not sure i want to spent that much. Any ideas?
