My new Steed picked it up from Pedal On for a bargain price £799!! No the greatest spec in the world but great frame and decent shock and fork which I feel is definitely worth future up-grades. Think an SLX crank will be the first major upgrade.

Cheers for the comments some of the kit is a little pants but certainly worth upgrading. Was a toss up between spending £799 or paying an extra £600 (which was a bargin) for the x3 (the x4 was out of stock). In the end the financials won out!

Sunday at GT



Managed to get to Glentress at the weekend for a first proper ride. Very impressed, very, very fast bike. I was worried that 100mm travel would not be enough but it ate up the red route no problems. These are some seriously fast rolling bikes, I was suprised in the difference in speed compared to my Saracen Zen 3.

Little gutted I didnt go with my intial choice the X3 as I'm now starting to plan loads of upgrades and that would have saved me the bother!

Still very happy with it especially for only £799!

I know what you mean, I have been humming and arghring for over 3 yrs now about getting one, but the 100mm always put me off. However, when I saw this for less than £800 I thought it was worth a punt.

Really glad I did now and would definatley recommend buying one.

Yeah I am realising what you mean, I have 140mm on my Saracen and that is overkill most of the time over here.
