some of you may remember me posting a few months ago.
I was going to build up a carbon on-one from however that didnt happen.
I wasnt able to fund it so I am back for some advice.
I want to know what you think of the Gt zaskar comp?
this one.............
http://www.tredz.co.uk/.GT-Zaskar-Comp- ... _48537.htm
I will be using it to commute most days ( will swap tyres ) and most likely some off road cycle paths and forest riding at weekends.
when I have built up my confidence I may venture to chicksands but I wont be doing any mad DH stuff just yet.
Is this a fairly decent bike and would it be ok for my intended use?
This bike is £100 cheaper from tredz than it is at evans.
any advice would be appreciated as I will be buying a bike in the next few days.
thanks

Not bad... it will be fine for what you want/need (except 'mad DH stuff' as its not a DH bike).
I'd consider the Boardman range before the Zaskar though!0 -
the thing is I will be financing the bike through Tredz so Boardman are out the game.0

I prefere the colour scheme on this and its fitted with Fox forks instead of rockshox,
I know this bike is alittle more but which one would you consider better?0 -
I was pretty set on the Cube,
Is this bike better than the cube?

It is more like the OnOne in the geometry and fork travel, and larger big hit ability. It is £1300 though. Same price as the 456 Carbon in 18":

The Rockshox forks on the cheaper LTD Pro are better than the Fox's... I'd still pick the Pro myself!0 -

This, I'd take the Rebas over the Fox forks.0 -
