help on deciding which new forks

Hi Guys,
Last few rides on my bike( Rockhopper) it's felt a bit loose on the front end upon close inspection the left fork sanction has a crack virtually all the way through(feel a bit grateful i noticed it on my drive). Bad news is i'm in the process of buying a new bike in the next few months but want to keep this one as a back up so hence i need to replace the fork. Kind of riding i do is all mountain/XC with the odd journey to trail centres(cannock/coedy etc), i don't really want to spend much more than £200, question is what fork should i be looking at?
