Him and I had spoken on several occassions about a bike I had and when I finally decided to sell it, 6 months on from our initial discussin about it, he was good to his initial word and expressed serious interest in it. We organised getting the bike to him and while that didnt actually pan out like we had intended 
he came down and picked it up. Used pound notes were exchanged, as was a bike, as agreed and dispite him hobbling about on crutches, stuck to his word and was super cheerful!
