Whyte 901 or Genesis core 40?????

I am about to get my self a nice new hardtail for the winter. I had falling in love with the 2012 Whyte 901 I can get it for 1k, I love the geomatry on it luv the colours the lot, and it had a good set of components.. But of course with anything new you question yorself, although I dont like the look of the bike so much I cant help feeling that a Genesis core 40 2012 will be a better bike for me and it has had awsome reviews..

Whats your thoughts people......

    Hi guys

    My local dealer don Skene is doing me a deal on the 2012 model... I have seen it cheaper but would like to buy local... Any more opinions out there.

    Where about's have you seen it cheaper then?

    You can get the Core 26.5 (this years "50") for not a lot more than 1K and that has the Reba fork. That's what I go for if I was going the genesis route (Also looks better in silver that blue IMO).
