B&W Touring Bike Box - British Airways

Hi all,
In a couple of weeks I'm moving from the UK to the US...
In order to take my road bike with me (Canyon Ultimate AL), I recently bought the B&W Touring Bike Box.
I'm flying with British Airways, and they allow (for a £40 excess baggage charge), weights up to 32Kg. So, I'm not too concerned about the weight. I am concerned about the size though, since the box itself looks massive! BA only allow a maximum of 190 x 75 x 65, which I think is too small for the box.
Has anyone had experience flying BA with this particular box?

Yes. Several times no problem - never seen them measure a bike box.Rich0
