Full sus Am/XC bike £1500 budget

Hi guys im looking for a new bike which im will be using for XC bit of down hill and some road use, I was thinking the All mountain bikes from canyon http://www.canyon.com/_uk/mountainbikes ... tml?b=2564 <--- that looks the one for me but they dont do finance and thats the only way i can afford to get one( i know sad). Could someone recommed me a simular spec or one suited to what im looking for around that price range? pref spend about 1.5k but could stretch to 1.7.

I have been out of the bike sceen for about 5 years and have always had DH spec bikes but I kinda want an all rounder now.

Also im 6'6 and about 16 stone so im looking at a xl frame so no point linking to a tiny small frame lol
