I've just bought this fantastic track frame - anybody know anything of the history of this make?

also, if anyone has made one into a fixie, (or in any case) how do I know what spindle length is best for the BB? (It appears to be 68 mm)

Langsett Cycles still exist as a bike shop:

BB spindle length depends on the model of chainset, not the frame and can vary from 102mm to 115mm for a single ring chainset.
