Ride buddy....North Kent

Is there anyone around the North Sittingbourne, Iwade area looking for a ride buddy? Average about 15mph, but prefer distance to speed. Looking to ride with someone, but not yet ready for a group. 46 years old, and only cycling since April, so not expecting too much.
I have a number of fairly traffic free routes I do ranging from 10 - 60 miles. Also plan to do more century rides in 2012. I am setting myself a target of 3000 miles in 2012.

    what a nice ride, good company and a nice route. It make such a difference riding with someone. My wife says I'm very quite (I'm knackered) and I'm not having a new bike! better start earning some brownie points, somehow.

    Perhaps the being quiet after a ride is the way to go....start talking through the soaps etc, if she gets cross just say...if I had a road bike.....and voila!
