New bike in the house...

Well, good old Father Christmas bought me a stack of bits for Christmas, and it looks like the lad did OK!

His hero Cav took the time to do a signed photo to go with it too - this is probably the happiest 8 year old in the world at this present time!

Cheers

Lovely Orbea looks the dogs. Hope you enjoy your racelight too.
I haven't seen any kids out on bikes where I live, as said above I think they're all on games consoles. How things have changed.

what size is the orbea and where from?
cheers
It's a tiny 24" Wheel version which I bought second-hand from a Bristol bike shop when I was looking for a Dawes Espoir. I don't think Orbea made these for very long, and they only come up second hand very rarely so not much help, sorry. There seems to be a gap in the market for this sized bike at a reasonable price. When I was kid it was a choice between a Chopper or a "racer" , they were everywhere. Funny how fashions change. Mind you, as mentioned above, very few kids out and about on bikes nowadays - more's the pity.

PJ Jnr's loving his, Colnago birthday present.
I'm keeping him on a fairly tight rein at the moment, 4-5 flat miles at any one go.
God help me (us) when he really unleashes his way through the gears.
