Importing history to Garmin connect from Cardio Trainer

Hi Peeps,
Has anyone had any experience with importing history from Cardio Trainer into Garmin Connect?
I have switched to a shiny Garmin 500 and would like to keep my history of logged rides using CT. I can export the .gpx files but when I attempt to upload them to Garmin Connect I get 'An error occurred with your upload. Please try again.'
Any help would be most appreciated.

Have you got the Garmin Communicator browser plug-in? Try uploading manually, ie selecting individual files from the memory of the CT?I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.0
