Shimano Center Lock rotor interchangability RT53 -> ?

Hi
I'm buying a second wheelset as an upgrade/so I can easily swap out tyres. Current wheelset has Shimano Center lock SM-RT53 @ 160mm. I'd like to buy a pair of 180mm rotors so that I can use the old 160mm RT53 on the back and run 180mm on the front of each wheelset. I can get RT53 in 160mm no problem but for 180mm I need to change rotor. From Shimano techDoc's (http://techdocs.shimano.com/media/techdocs/content/cycle/EV/bikecomponents/SM/EV-DISC_ROTOR-2429E_v1_m56577569830728280.pdf it seems that RT62 rotors use the same lock ring and washer as RT53 & I can easily get these in 180mm.
So, my question is really: Are all Center Lock rotors interchangeable? If not could I use RT62's or do the replacements have to be identical?
Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere; I did look (and learnt a whole lot of interesting stuff!) but couldn't find a clear answer.
Cheers
