sram ox and red will its work?

looking at building up my ultimate cross/commuter next year and was wondering ould i use a 9sp rear XO mech with red shifters (10spd) so i could use a bigger ratio cassette.. i know 9sp xtr will work with 10 sp ultegra shifters so hoping sram will be the same

    If you want a big cassette why not get an Apex groupset?
