The less people cook the more enormous cookers are sold. The less religious this society becomes the more we are treated to f*ck-wits ranting on about how we should behave in a religious manner. Not that they are particularly religious but it looks good if they pretend that it matters.

An example:- people often tell me how they could not cycle as 'the roads are too dangerous'. when I enquire, as I do, when they last cycled? the reply is always in the mists of time, when the respondent was young & fit. It conveys a level of (spurious) concern for the well-being of your humble servant whilst achieving nothing.
