However, I wouldn't use the old housings as templates because the Gore Ride-On's are wider in diameter and a little bit stiffer, so behave differently when they bend to form loops.
I would install as if it was a new setup - insert one end of the housing into the cablestop and hold its length parallel to the shifter barrel adjuster whilst turning the handlebars in order to determine the correct length needed.
I would also make sure that the graphics on the shifter-to-frame segment of the housings are symmetrical, so measure very carefully.0
