Morning bumders

Shortest day of the year, only a few days to Xmas, Win. Also the day I'm doing uplift at Cwmcarn. Should be amazing despite having to be awake and leave early.

  • I wake up at 5:40am every day of the week except weekends, it's not that early!

    Morning all,

Bringing the bike to my mechanic in a few hours, should have it back tomorrow which means I can then build the rest of it up, and get myself riding should weather be decent enough. Damn ice..........

Other than that, preparations are being made for the parents arrival tomorrow, so food stuffs, and a few other things will be bought. Super excited for the next week!

    Moaning tarts

A day of meetings is the forecast. After that its the last night with the family till Christmas eve as they are off to do family rounds & I am working/drinking. My thoughts are based around a pub theme for food later.

    'ning!
Booked a wee trip to Bansko for to snowboard on my birthday week last night. This pleases me.
Just consumed some porridge, the AOC isn't in, I have work to do but nothing majorly urgent... I think that's a win.
Someone's leaving today, so will be going to the pub for a swift half, before running home to finish wrapping presents.
Have a great day everyone! ;)

    Morning Crud Pokers,

I've got my last day off alone today (without the wife), this mean that I have to do as little as possible and properly relax before she makes do far more than is humanly possible in one day tomorrow!

Let us know how it went - and what state the runs are in :-)

My folks descend on us today for a few days so I need to sort a few things out and buy supplies. This afternoon I've got to drive into London and pick them up from the coach station, which will not be a heap of fun as the West End will be heaving. Will be good to see them though as I don't see them that much with them living oop North.

    Coffee time...

  • Fail..

Was supposed to go to the Surrey office today. However the neighbour's toddler was crying all night last night, and I can hear it through the freakin' wall. So, that kept me up. The shyte part of living in a terraced house.
Anyway I overslept on purpose, so I guess I'll go into the office tomorrow..
Not much work on for the home based worker this time of year, plus I got the whole of next week off too, so today will be a day of FaceBoook, torrent downloads and other unproductive practices
Oh and take Milo to the vet... hell yea!
  • Morning!
Staying at my parents house now until the 28th or so. Their heating's died. Great. Anybody know of how we can get it repaired for free? They're retired and my Dad's disabled, there must be a government thing about that we don't know about?
Anywho's, today I think I will try and buy a new suit from Burtons (some nice suits in the sale there) and I have a concert tonight that I'm performing in. Fun times.

so today has been quite eventful really

Car serviced - New coil pack and HT Leads needed
Bike ridden - Came off and bent the rear mech hanger (which is now straightened) and the headset was loose afterward as well, on retightening the top cap there was a click and the star nut came clean out of the steerer tube. this is now fixed but another teething problem with the blue pig!
Laundry done - but didn't make it back to collect it.....grrr

tomorrow massive xmas food shop (approx £380) and then got to put it all away before going to see miss k's grandude!

It was amazing. Just do it. Everything's rollable at first, when you go for it it's so much fun. Considering recent weather trails are well drained (only 2/3 puddly/slippery patches I remember) and there's plenty of grip going as long as you've got the tyres for it. Most of the people there today were using Swampthings and they were doing the job fine.
