hi i am thinking about buying one of those camber 29" or Ams 29" (both 2012 models) i cant test them because they have to be specially ordered. i am so lost in which to chose. does anyone know which bike is better? the cube is a little bit more expensive.

  • Due to past experience, I would never buy a bike that I hadn't at least sat on.
I have an old Trek that, looking back, wasn't the best for me. I know that now after riding other bikes. I now realise that I need a more stretched out ride due to my body shape.

You will need a bit of patience - the Cubes aren't out until the New Year. (My LBS reckon that they will be getting the Cube 29er range in around January)
If you are going to spend a fair bit of money on a bike that you want to use for the next few years, I would look for another shop where you can try them out. Even if that means travelling somewhere else to do it.

  • I tried camber 26” and it felt great, I don’t know if there is much difference between 26 and 29. There is one camber 29” in this country which is large and I need medium. To try a 29 fully suspension I would have to go to another country by plane or a boat hehe. There is a lot of wisdom in your words. Thank for replying
