Apologies if this has been done before, but is this for real? http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/cycling/16231501.stm

Obree is already hero in my eyes, but 100 mph in a human-powered vehicle, on the flat. I just hope the BBC are filming this for a documentary.

Faith is the denial of observation so that Belief can be preserved

Depends if he was on a Trek 100 with a baggy jacket, saddle bag, wobbly helmet and riding really badly down a hill I suppose......

Otherwise I too need to see footage filmed from a mountain bike behind me to convince me.

Sorry guys, but I'm with Matt on this one.
  • I do know where he can get a suitable computer though!
