Look 586 internal cable rattle
I've recently built up a Look 586, very happy with it, but when riding on poorly surfaced roads at speed there is a loud, rattling noise coming from the frame somewhere. I thought at first it could be the headset or the gear inner cables hitting the frame, but after examination, I'm pretty sure it's the rear brake cable outer rattling inside the top tube. I've not experienced this before and I'm at a bit of a loss to know what to do about it. I'm thinking about putting some tape around the outer casing (effectively increasing its diameter) on the section that is inside the top tube, making it a closer fit.
Anyone else had similar problems with internal cable routing? Any easy solutions?

I have the same problem with my Tarmac SL4, can't think if any solutions though. When I use the rear brake it goes because of the tension on the cable. I'm think about taking the cable out and routing in with some sort of insulating material, but I'm worried about this may affect braking capability.0

Not sure where you can get the parts but I think with some creativity it should be fairly simple for any bike. Just hope my new SL3 frame has the bits to do this in the box !!!.0
