None of the above should be taken seriously, and certainly not personally.

Let's just hope that if they are testing on monkeys no animal rights activists break in and release the monkeys.

i think its a good thing, as long as they can predetermine how it will mutate (if it does mutate). Then they will know how to deal with it

also hopefully they wont inadvertently release it like that other bioscience place that released Foot & Mouth in 2004

im told its already mutated though in ManFlu?!

Alternatively - Don't create the virus to mutate in the first place.

Or, in a more cynical view,

    That'll boost the pharmacutical industry.
That'll kill off a few of those people living too long.
    That'll kill off the sick.

    That'll rescue the economy.

I must be having a bad day.

Don't give Osborne the chance to blame the recession on Dutch Killer Flu, because he'll try it!

I guess you can't work on a vaccine if you don't know what a 'transmittable' version of the virus looks like. I'm sure they're not doing it so they can escape to a hollowed out volcano and hold the world to ransom.....

I get that but surely it should be done on the QT?
Exposing the research and findings creates all sorts of potential problems.

What's the plot of the next Daniel Craig film?

Mr Fouchier tells it's okay. He may have a vested interest.

I know this stuff goes on but keep it in the background, secret and safe until required.
Wait till the Daily Hell or Express get a hold of this - Panic.

    * I may be quite on the drunk side.......................*

Panic for people who get panicked by crazy stuff like immigrants give you cancer.

They probably panic when they wake up every day and realise they're still alive anyway.

I would... If I read the mail.
