Rockshox Recon Gold

Hi guys,
I recently bought a 2011 Rockshox Recon Gold Solo-Air 100mm from Merlin.
In the box there are 2 black spacers (look like cotton bobbins) that I can only assume they are for adjusting the travel internally.
Does anyone know how to install them? I'm pretty competent with servicing the forks and stuff but just not come across these been supplied before.
Your advice please...

No there are 2 different sizes 1 is about 20mm and the other is 40mm. As the forks are supposed to be set at 100mm I assumed that the smaller would increase travel to 120mm and the taller reduce to 80mm but I have to confess I've not looked to see what is inside the fork. I'm happy using them as 100mm on my hardtail but its hand knowing if I could run them at 120mm0 -

The manual that comes with is as much use as a chocolate teapot! I know how to install them. It gives nothing on set up.0 -

The forks may be 100mm max, but the spacers suggest maybe not. Only way to tell is to open them up and look what is in them. Usually 80mm has a 40mm or 2x20mm spacers installed, 100mm 1x20mm, and 120mm no spacers.
So if you want 120mm, take apart and remove a spacer if installed.0 -
Could be true.
My Recon Silvers are 120mm travel.
