Towbar Rack

I was about to buy one of these on the simple basis that it would be less hassle than the other types and my question occurred to me:

Would adding a towbar affect my insurance premium - it would only be used for a bike rack?

    it might.

    it depeds on YOUR incurance company. Ask them.

    My insurers said that it was good I told them even though it did not affect my premium.
