Clicking Link - Possibility to open new tab/window?

Just a real quick one..
Ever since the new forum, i've been getting slowly more annoyed at links on here. Every time someone links an internet link, you click it and you go straight to the link. This is in the same window/tab where you're browsing the forum.
Is there a way that it could be done that when we click a link on the forum, it opens in a new tab/window?
