not sure if this is the right place, sorry if it's not.

are all seat clamps the same size if the seatpost is 30.9?

on my hardtail and full suss i have a 30.9 seatpost and i think on the hardtail that it says 36 on the seat clamp, would this be right and the same size on teh full suss or does it depend on frames?

thanks :D

    No.

it could be any size bigger due to frame design and material.

cheers mate, i've just checked the superstar website which is the clamp i wa going to buy and it says that it stocks the 2 most popular sizes and one of them is a 34.9 so i'm guessing it's that.

i'll check the felt website now, nice one

You need to check what size clamp you have now (usually written inside), clamps come in a fewer number of sizes than posts, there is a very good chance yours is 34.9, but it MAY not be.
