Turns out it was a bit chilly out today. It didn't get above 2.5C.
I'm sure little Matt was there when I went out, but I'll be damned if I could find him when I got home !!!!

Time for some new bib longs, Endura Equipe I think.

Well, it was a cracking day for it today, the sun was shining and the sky was blue, but still 2.5C !!
It didn't feel particularly cold, until I headed home into a spiteful North Westerly wind !!!!

I have a horrible feeling I've picked up a bit of a cold though, chest is tight and I've been coughing since I got home :(

At this time of year the sun has little or no impact, in fact the clearer the skies the colder it is, at this time of year, if its warmth your after, you should be praying for cloudy skies, clouds act as insulation during winter, clouds are your friend...until they fancy a p*ss.

Well, having said that I've got until about 10:45am to be out on the bike this morning, I think I'll give it a miss.
It's currently 9:15am, -1.5C and a beautiful day. But.......... there's a good frost out there and the roads are all sparkly. I suspect that my short route will be very icy, as it doesn't see much traffic, so I'm going to have to content myself a few mugs of tea and a bacon sandwich.

I should have gone on the club run this morning, saw what the temperature had done from 5am this morning, and decided to stay in, drink another cup of coffee, and go out later. Discretion and all that... having made the wrong decision last January on a lovely morning like this morning and paid the price...
