Ok guys need some advice
I have Avid Elixir R brakes on my bike
My mate has offered me some Hope M4's for a really good price
Honest opinions, which is the better brake??
Having never used Hope's and only Avid's before i can't compare.
Cheers all

I would keep what you have, I have used Hope in the past especially M4's...yes they look nice but IMO the performance doesn't warrant the price, they are crap in the wet and squeal like Kerry Katona when her local kebab shop opens...0

Stick with what you have.
Why do you think he is selling his?"Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Err, yes. They feel great - as in the modulation, lever shape, adjustability - you know, feel.... but they are severely lacking in power.A Flock of Birds
