    ha thanks m8 I will have to take some more close ups it has carbon rail seat fizik,carbon seat post,formula RO oval piston brakes,xtr shifter an crank,mova bolts an titanium Bolts weighs about 9 kilo, mg1 pedals and Specialized roval traversee wheels,absolute joy to ride will be getting cane creek ddb air for Xmas I hope ha

    I want to see that on the scales, I find it nearly impossible for a bike of that travel to be 9kilos. My father in law just builts up his dream bike worrying only about weight, a merida 140mm trail bike, and that tips the scales at 11kg something. 9 sounds like too much of a strech for that.

    He's telling you porkies....a standard five pro weighs in at 13.8 kg....so I doubt the changes warrant losing nearly 5kg...

    As much as it weighs, they just don't do it for me.

    no way is that anywhere near 9kg, i'd say you'd be lucky for it to be anywhere under 12kg, 12.5kg at the very lightest i would say, my Mojo HD is no where near even 10kg, with a much lighter 1x10 spec

    Yeah 9kilos is way off the mark, my '10 Pro is 12.8kgs, even if you loose 1kg on a set of flash wheels you still dont come close, but then who cares its a ripper of a ride and will be putting one of these on you face for a long time to come :mrgreen:

    sorry to say but 9kgs sounds a bit far off

    my old Scale 20 hardtail was only 9kgs, and that was after converting to 1x9 with titanium and carbon everywhere

    my FSR XC, that has most of the Scale parts, weighs in at 14kgs...

    ha ha its funny this forum,to be fair I have been eating weetabix ha felt like 9 ha it is 12.169 kilos,
    I know its a bit orange was thinking that when I bought it but its grown on me the colour an looks really nice in photos in different lights,cheers boys anyway
