Head tube badges

I really like bikes to have nice head badges, preferably nice detailed metal ones. There seem to be very few modern road bikes made with them anymore it seems. Most custom stuff seems to oblige, but just about all 'main stream' manufacturers have now resported to a simple decal.
The reason most cite is to do with weight savings, but I suspect the real reason is cost. Personally I would rather carry an extra 15g and have something nice on the front of the bike that says something about the craftsmanship that went into its production.
Am I alone in feeling like this?
My favourite ones are Vanilla bikes, Yeti (MTB's), and my Six13's 2 seperate ones (that actually only exist because of the way the frame is made - leaving 2 holes too many in the head tube that they needed to cover)!
Feel free to post pics of any nice examples you may have!
