Morning numbnuts!

TFI Friday! Last night I was chatting to Hot Librarian, things are going VERY well! :D Happy Mule!

Today will consist of meh, which will make my head feel meh, and is rubbish. It is, however, the last day I work this year! Work Christmas meal on Monday means I can meet up with everyone (and Hot Librarian) and get wasted, they can't HA.

Anywho's, tea's to be consumed.

Laters!

    mornin

lots of grief at work today, mostly giving, some receiving.

If I get out on time I think it’s a family pub night, but not too much as off to Coventry for a corporate finance thing on Saturday :(

Got a good customer bringing a lot of parts in (unless snow gets in the way) - really quite looking forward to it. This means today I forgo the Fryday treat of bacons. Poo. But at least I get to zap some proper s**t.

Dinner tonight is in the slow cooker. Nom.

The weekend will consist of copiuos paintball, and bike building in the Clank 'Skunkworks'. There is also a house warming party on Saturday night, at a friends pad, where lots of people will get very drunk. Being non-drinker, this will either mind-numbingly tedious, or hilarious. Knowing the partakers, I'm reckoning on more the latter than the former.

    Onwards to caffiene.
How would I write my own epitaph? With a crayon - I'm not allowed anything I can sharpen to a sustainable point.

It's eldest daughters birthday today, so much fun to be had there.
Tomorrow it's eldest daughters birthday party
Sunday we're going to the Panto (ohhhh yes we are :roll)

    Morning bumders

Exam today. Morning of revision first. Don't know why I've been working so much, it's only for 5% of the year, and it's only 30 questions on this terms work, which is about as much work as we did in the whole of last year, I'd say I'm fairly buggered.

Oh well afterwards I'll be getting wasted to celebrate the end of term, then off home to bikes tomorrow.

This evening is a cycle in the Peaks around Millstone and Longshore Estate, then Christmas cycle curry - do they have Sag Aloo Bacon Paneer?
I'm going to blow the bank on a new build ( within reason ) NOW DONE!!

This, minus the coffee (I'm allergic) and the kebab - will probably end up with chips and cheese.
Oh and MrF will be joining me later and trying to catch up with my state of inebriation.

    Onwards to porridge.

    Morning Wasters,

My first Cwmcarn uplift day was going to be today but got cancelled due to the ropey weather and it's 'orrible here with some snow and sleet forecast so I'm going a bit cold turkey on the bike front here :-(

Will have to think of summik to do now...in the meantime we've got Gaz's Fourth Day of Crudmas to look forward to - where the fook is he? :-)

All them people with 'proper' jobs will be in the pub all day, meaning our busiest day of the year. Cue me spending most of the day shouting 'turkey?!' Whilst people reply 'is that beef?' or 'no, mines pork.' Then having to explain to some poor soul that they can't have what they ordered as some moron they work with is eating it, due to either a) forgetting what they ordered from the massive 4 options or b) have forgotten their own name.

    Did I mention, bah humbug?

70 miles each way - feck that for a game of soldiers. I once did about half that distance and it was a right pain.

Mine's either 40 or 100 miles each way depending on which office I'm in.

I dream of a job where I can ride in on a bike.

 If that's every day I'd start looking for a new job if I were you mate. Mind you I'm a bit spoilt as most of the jobs I'd go for are in the same place (Cental London) so I'm already living quite close.

That's every day. Look in the hub for my latest thoughts about work.

I'm the opposite of you though, live in the sticks and apart from where I am now the choice is London. That means an hour on the train, although I could get a 50% pay increase quite easily. The other down side is that I've narrowly missed being blown up on two occasions and I'm worried about being unlucky on the third.

    Afternoon Slaaaaaaaags

Today has been mostly avoiding doing what i should be doing. This week has been tough sicne Mrs DCR has started her new job after a year's maternity leave, so the Monkey has been in nursery more than he would like and we have been a tad stressed. To help, this time last week i was hooning around Gisburn...

Tomorrow we are at a wedding and then Sunday we are meeting with friends for lunch. At some point i hope to clean my bike, as it didnt get done after riding last weekend.

Bring on 6pm and that first glass of wine buzz

I'd not even realised that you had a nursery, She's a qualified primary teacher but theres hardly any work out there and this was something she looked at with the idea of getting some insight into it as a business model for ourselves when we eventually edge over Pembrokeshire way. Cheers for the heads up though, you never know how things will turn out, so feel free to keep me posted in the future mate
