    Lizard skin Lock ons (Peaty)

Twin lock on so they don't move and comfy and look bling.

ODI Ruffians. Easy to fix to bars, they lock on, they have great grip without being bulky, they seem to ware very well and come in numerous colours.

ODI Intense grips, nice shape (fatter in the miiddle which I like), uber grippy and with flanges... hmm, flanges.

Superstar easily. Price & quality. As they say, they're made in the same factory as just about all other grips on the market, except ODI (and they are basically same as ODI anyway, except cheaper).

Superstars again here, great value for money.
  • Yep 6 quid for the cartridge on the ss ones I use - why pay more....
  • Another +1 for Superstar. I like a chunky grip so use the Excel.

Yup, I use these too :D

I have really small hands and lots of grips are just too big - these are quite slim, comfy, nice and grippy and they don't move at all.

Bontrager XXX Lite foam for me! Cheap, 100g ligher than lock-ons, stay put nicely, thin, comfy.
  • Anyone else found Superstars to wear out quickly or is it me gripping to hard through fear? :D
They are good while they last but I think I'll be going back to yeti's next.

i've had mine on for over a year and they're still fine. i've just bought some different ones (still SS) because i had a crash and ripped the lock ring and bar plug off - didn't realise until i got back to the car park. but otherwise they'd still be going strong.

They do (or did) soft compound options which wear out quicker. Regular ones seem okay. Grips wear out though and may depend on how you grip, the gloves, etc. Still, £5 for replacement and more Haribos.

Just look at the number of threads with people deliberating about less, it's the cheapest 100g you'll save on most bikes! Save 100g off everything and that starts to make quite a difference too!

This is very true. But I don't like foam grips.

Which is fair enough! They do feel different to rubber certainly.

ESI Silicone ones are supposed to be good.
