Hi guys
Can anyone tell me if the monarch RT locks out on the boardman full suss pro? The boardman spec shows the rear shock being a RL not a RT. Has it been superseded? I think a bike that is near 1800 quid is a bit poor if the rear doesn't lock out. Can anyone enlighten me??? Thanks

no mension of there being lockout on it..
aint the rl an ario.. this has lock out.
why would you want lockout on it ? modern day shocks are tuned and pretty efficient these days..
and what has price got to do with it,, none of my bikes have lock out and cost double that..www.bearbackbiking.com

It is a simialr system to the Fox pro pedal so yes you can lock out the travel as you can open and close the floodgate.0

i thought it would be simlar to the fox propedal, i dont know rockshox shocks very well...
my rp23 doesnt lock out when i use propedal it stiffens it up,, but it still uses it's travel
unless i missundertanding lockout.. my old marzocchi 55 atas had lock out and when used, it locked them out as in they would'nt move (rigid) i guess this was another fault with them bloody forks.www.bearbackbiking.com

It doesn't lock out so to speak, it stiffens the shock if you take a hit then the valve will open to stop any damage..the RS sales gumph ir crap to be honest...0 -

Its not poor if it doesn't lock out, its a full sus afterall.
That said, it's bloody useful being able to lockout the rear I do it all the time on the Stumpy on smooth-ish climbs, the difference it makes compared to propedal can be shocking (boom boom) sometimes.0
