Morning all, up bright an early today. Time to head to the old flat, to meet some heating repair guy who checks the flat over once a year, and doesn't even ask me if i'm available at the time he says. If I miss the appointment, I get to pay 150 for wasting his time, but like last year he will probably be 2 hours, and he'll still get paid even though he wasted my time.
ON a side note, it does at least give me ample time to paint my old flat, so hopefully I will have that done today!0 -
got to go and shoot a gun today, hope the targets are big!
gonna be rubbish!

Radiator pants = WIN!
Well, late night last night talking in pub with Hot Librarian. It was 7:10 when I last checked my watch, so I text my housemate saying I'd be home by 8.... at 00:15 I walked through the door, everyone's asleep, and I have cold curry in the oven and a naan waiting in the toaster. So, I've just eaten that for breakfast. Awesome!
Not much to do today, other than visit the library
LatersIt takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.

Morning gaybods,
Things are deffo looking up on the job front as I have three different interviews within the next week so would be good for morale if I could bag one.....if not I may buy a canoe and disapear for a bit leaving the missus to put a substantial claim in for life insurance !! sounds like a bit of a win.
On a slightly downbeat note I went for a turd this morning only to find out half way through a mega push that her indoors had not replaced the loo roll.....good job it was a one wipe and her flannel was to hand.0 -
morning fools!
so today is a day of
-work,
-3hr xmas lunch,
-making 120(ish) mince pies
-installing x-firm coil to my sektors
-fitting custom decals to fork lowers
-cleaning house in prep for sister staying over
-packing for tomorrows trip ooop norf
-picking missk up from here xmas party where she will be wasted and dressed in a robin costume!
what a day
its started to snow around the country and especially important is it is snowing in glossop! this has its merits in that i get snow this weekend when i am up visiting the rental units. the downside to this is Glossop grinds to a halt if the snow is bad and i have to collect my father from the airport on saturday morning and also want to come home on sunday and dont want to be stuck with a load of chumps that cant drive!0 -
'ning
Grumpy, however christmas meal #2 is in a few hours and the wine fairy left 2 bottles on my desk last night.
Later is tree up, wrapping presents and other shoot that I'm not really that keen on.

Just recieved this on my PC screen............company HSE communication wrote:Winter driving advice from Health and Safety
This country's variable weather conditions pose a wide range of problems for road users. You need to check your tyres for sufficient tread, top up your washers with antifreeze and ensure that you maintain good visibility. In order to minimise accident risk, drivers also need to fully adapt their driving to the different conditions.
so H&S are trying to get me to put ANTIFREEZE in my screenwasher bottle........hmmm if i do this and say i was advised to by the company, will i be able to claim to get the car sprayed!?0 -

Obviously a woman.. supprised she didn't elaborate more "drivers also need to fully adapt their driving to the different conditions by converting from heels to flat shoes"0 -

This morning I'm sorting the bike out on the offchance the weather isn't shyte tomorrow. Then am doing more rearranging of stuff in the garage. Then I'll have to think of something..."I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0 -
Holy sh*t
You know its windy when 14kg of 456 gets blown over even when you've leant it against the railings at about 45 degrees.Visit Clacton during the School holidays - it's like a never ending freak show.
Who are you calling inbred?0 -
Just skated home from work on the Motorbike, it was not pleasant. Absolutely bugger all traction. So it is going in the garage till it decided to get a bit warmer (March time) plus i have found out its got a hole just were the two exhaust pipes connect into one, and also near the can.
So thats £270 for a full stainless steel exhaust system to replace the cheap mild steel tat it has on.
Off to bed and back in work tonight0 -

Correction by H&Scompany HSE communication wrote:The Safety, Health and Environmental department sincerely apologises for any confusion created by the use of the term "antifreeze" in relation to windscreen washer fluid in this morning's Message of the Day. Antifreeze is normally used to describe Ethylene glycol mixtures used in engine coolant. Winter windscreen washer fluid and de-icers usually contains Methanol. Please do NOT use engine antifreeze or any other liquid as a substitute for proprietary winter windscreen wash solution, as it may result in damage to your paintwork.
The corrected text will appear in tomorrows Message of the Day.0 -
