    You know, my vague memory tells me that the Goodies were really really funny but I've always been concerned it was me wanting to believe that in that way you do like remember things from your childhood as being great so I've never tried to watch them since the internet made it possible. Should I? Have always considered it but don't want to be let down.

    you will be let down. they had a xmas special the year before last on bbc two - oh never has half an hour gone so slow - remember them as they were- tuck your shirt into your underpants - don your best union jack waist coat and let memory be your friend.
