Hi
I am planning to put together a new bike this winter as my Trek is feeling old. Can anyone recommend a good all mountain full suspension frame set. Something with at least 6 inches of travel? I will be buying second hand on a budget so frames up to about 5years old?
Many thanks in advance

Older style Giant Reign X. Awesome bike. Newer ones aren't so good (I bought a new one :-( )Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350

thanks for listing bike manufacturers but you seem to be missing the point. I am asking for people’s opinions on frames they have ridden. I have been riding since the 90's so of course I am aware that most brands have an all mountain bike in their range0

Reign, rides everthing you put in front of it, mastero suspension works so feel, climbs well and decends even better, I do every type of riding and its by far the best frame I've had.0 -

ok sorry i missed that bit in your opening thread,,,, i took this as another what bike blah blah blah...
me personally
had a santacruz heckelr for 3and half years and loved it, took it on some big terrain in whistler (did 6 trips) with the heckler it was faultless, in my opinion it was far better when i put a coil shock on it...
replaced heckler with santacruz cruz butcher did 2 trips to whistler on it and it is an amazing bike really really impressed me...
friends bikes
i know people who had knolly deleirium t and rate them

Haven't actually ridden one but I'd like a shot of a Reign X...
Cotic's Hemlock is discontinued but is a proper bike, really rate mine highly... Orange Alpine is decent but a bit more compromised IMO. Marin Wolfridge? Not a 160 bike, just thinks it is...Uncompromising extremist0
