Advise on buying a my first Full Suspension bike

Hi, after a couple of years of riding a hard tail, I have decided to buy a full suss mountain bike next year. I don't have an huge budget (£1000 - 1300), but have heard allot about the Giant Trance X4. I like what I have read, but does any one have any experience of them? Are there other better or comparable bikes out there in the same price range? I ride a Specialized Rockhopper at the moment and love this. I ride mainly single track on the North Downs, Swinley Forrest and alike. Any help appreciated!!

I had a Trance X3 (same frame) awesome bike. Definately reccomend it.
