shimano mtb shifters to use with 105 rear mech

Hi all, just wondering if any of the shimano 10sp MTB shifters will work with a 10sp 105 road rear mech and cassette?

fancy beefing up my hybrid and have a full 105 5700 road gearset I can use for parts.

Currently using X5 SRAM stuff but dont like it that much.

bum could have swore I seen some guys using road rear mechs on their MTBs. maybe the 9sp ones tho.

Yep. 10spd is all different.

You might syill be able to get flat bar road shifters, then it would work.
