DH training

Afternon all. Have been playing at what you might call proppa DH for nearly a year now, once sometimes twice a week at Stile Cop - push up, ride down. It's not that far (60m vertical drop, 2-3 minutes top to bottom) and although I like to think I have a reasonable standard of fitness for trail riding I'm toast after each DH sesh (20 runs or so)
Not so much sore or breathless but more a feeling of being totally drained - and then I have to ride 9 miles back home across the Chase, being overtaken by joggers
Just wondered what I could do to improve my DH endurance? Cheers

Have you thought about a training program. I have been following this one: http://dbcombos.com/
The combo drills have made a significant difference to my endurance.
If you want to know what it is all about the guy behind it has a podcast you can click through to it via the link.0 -
