Keep hearing adverts on the radio (Central FM in the office) about them wanting to hear from cyclists to help make Stirling a cycle friendly city.

I'll try and listen out for the url mentioned in the ad next time it's on in case anyone is interested.

Tell them that it is simple and free.

Drivers just need to keep calm and show a bit of patience and courtesy.
Oh, and cyclists need to obey the rules in return.

Simples! But never going to happen.
None of the above should be taken seriously, and certainly not personally.

Given the seasonal weather we're having, this is perfect timing to launch a cycle campaign in Scotland... ;)

Seems that the know but are doing it anyway. Preach to the converted, then to the ride-curious and hopefully get much more people interested in the thousands of years it will take Scotland to move to a better climate due to plate tectonics!

Technically, Earth is in an ice-age, so long-term, things will warm up.

From what I remember of Stirling it consists of one massive hill - cyclists probably need a bit of encouragement

Stirling is largely flat, with one hill having an Edinburgh castle-a-like on top.

This is why its tough to get cycling to catch on in Scotland:

    Its not a good look.
