What Bearings do i need?

I noticed recently that my front wheel seemed to have a lot of play and even after tightening the 20mm thru bolt it was still wobbling. I'm guessing as well as being told that this is the front wheel bearings in my hub.
I have a Combat wheelset laced to Hope Hubs and i know that they aren't new. So i'm just checking that the regular Hope Pro 2 bearings are correct and that it isn't some sort of old Hope hub.
Here are some pictures.
Thanks all

What Hope hub? They use different sizes. Though the code will be written on the bearing.0

I don't know which hub, there are no markings saying what it is. I was hoping someone on here would know. The wheels were on the bike when i got it.0

Very likely 61804 2RS on a Hope bolt through, but justremove one and check to be sure. You might be able to see it written on the seal if you pull the end caps off.0

To pull the end caps off is it just the cir clip on the outside?0

Are, they may not be pullable offable like the Pro 2... so probably not a Pro 2. I think is a BULB:
The bearings are as I originally thought, 6804 2RS0 -
Look for the C clips holding the adaptors in place."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Would these be suitable? Or is it best to buy hopes "own brand" as it were?

No way of knowing... Unbranded bearings can be fine, or awful. I bought 5 cheapies a while back, 1 was knackered out of the box, 1 lasted about 2 rides, but the other one I fitted is still going strong 6 months later- terrible tolerances. (the other 2 I've not used, like rolling a dice though)
Hope ones aren't terrible value and they're decent bearings... Or, track down a quality brand- FAG, INA, SKF, Koyo. I use Koyo generally because they come in a nice wee cardboard box that reminds me of getting matchbox cars when I was a kid Or, get cheap ones and just tolerate the fact that they might only last as long as it took to get them delivered- can still work out cheap over time but it's a hassle.Uncompromising extremist0 -
FAG bearings are £9.75 each or half the price or less for no brand cheap efforts.

FAG or SKF would be my choice. KSM also if they do sizes that small. Cheap bearings are unreliable, whatever is in there already just replace like for like.
Not sure who makes Hope's OEM fitted bearings but i understand they are good quality.2011 KHS Full Susser Carbon 29er Race BuildClank wrote:M'eh, I might just go back to zapping it with frikken lay-zur beeeems. And sharks.0
