further to my post regarding fitting an exposure flare on my seatpost, i think i may well need a new saddle bag to enable this.
looking for one which will fit a tube, levers & p******* repair kit, but one which doesnt have a height of more than 2 inches max.
been looking at these:
http://www.probikekit.com/uk/luggage-tr ... -pack.html
http://www.probikekit.com/uk/luggage-tr ... small.html
http://www.wiggle.co.uk/fizik-pak-ics-s ... lip-small/
any idea which is the best?
any other recommendations?

Avoid anything with an exposed velcro strap unless you want to wear holes on the inside of your shorts or tights, or at best, have a nice fuzzy patch.Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..0

cheers, but this is still slightly too big. height is 7.5 centres, really need something with a max of 5.
anyone ever used the fizik small bag?

Have you thought of using a stash bottle instead - it's what I use after the saddle got in the way of my rear lights.0
-
yeah i have, but then i do quite like having two bottles with me.
guess i will have to sacrifice something right?!!0 -
Works for me - I was tired of trying to squeeze stuff into the saddle bag but keeping it out of the way of my lights. I gave up when I bought my second MS 818 light unit .. just not enough room on the saddle post.
If I could change one thing I would have bought a bigger stash bottle .. I think you can get two sizes .. I only found the 500ml version.
Also I tend to stuff kitchen roll around the tools int he stash bottle to stop the tools rattling (very annoying).0 -
I use an old tea towel to stop the rattling, that way I also have something on hand that I can use to wipe my hands after changing grubby tyres or getting grease off them, and also as a ground cloth on which to put bits and pieces.0

I got a fizik saddle (anteres i think) with a small fizik bag which clipson securely and hangs below the saddle, doesnt move while riding or at least i dont feel it moving.
It contains 2 innertubes, co2 plus adapter, multi tool, puncture rep kit, £10 is cash, nok docs,
The rest, food, mobile, etc goes in pockets.

Probikeit are out of stock but you can do a search, great little pack tho limited on capacity, 1 tube, levers and patches, thats it but that is all I want so suits me sir......aesthetically the best.
