HI all,
I'm looking for some advice regarding a full sus frame for my son. The idea is to buy a frame some time in the new year and use it as a basis to build a cross country bike for him over a 12 month period. Saving up to buy components and then building the bike together will, hopefully, be a great learning experience for him and a good teaching exercise for me. :)

He is currently 4' 10" with an inside leg of 28" so I'm thinking a 15.5 or 16" frame should be about right.

Has anyone got any suggestions for a decent frame up to about £400, please?

Thanks in advance,
Andrew

  • I've been browsing and I have found this,

it's bang on £400, but i'm not sure about the small frame size, don't know how many inches it is, think it'd be a good idea to ring them up, if you want to.

    Hope this helps :D

    Thanks, cannondale.
That's the type of frame I'm after.

The last bike I built was based on a Saracen Kili Flyer Comp back in 1990 so I'm really looking forward to building another one with my son.
