......are a good company to deal with;
I moan about late delivery and stuff from time to time but this is an axample of when CRC really do shine as a great company so i thought i post this
30th November: Blue Pig Ordered
5th December: Blue Pig delivered after a bit of chasing
The bike arrived with scratches on the top tube and chips in a number of places! Contacted CRC who said they would supply £40 of vouchers for my trouble, i said i wasnt happy and wanted the bike repaired, to which they agreed and i went to get a quote from Argos Cycles.
Argos quoted £160 to strip, respray and rebuild the bike, CRC agreed to the complete repair, the only snag Argos wont finish the work till mid/end january and thats supplying the bike to them this week. No bike over xmas = not happy.
So i called CRC today and explained the situation, placed on hold for 5 mins and then they have offered me £100 in vouchers as compensation. I feel this is ample compensation really and it means i can get out and ride which is the most important thing about buying a bike!
I didnt need to get angry, raise my voice or be kept on hold for very long, the guys on the phone were very helpful.
My faith in CRC has been restored!

this is the reason i thought its not worth handing the bike over for 6-8 weeks for a spray job for something that with invariably be a mess in 4 months of riding!
i just want to get out on it now, but alas the weather is now windy as fook! fingers cross for saturday morning!0 -
