Garmin Ege 705 Power Up

Hi

I have just bought a Garmin Edge 500 after having an Edge 705 for a couple of years. One major difference I have noticed is the time the 705 takes for it to spring into life when turning on compared to the 500 and wondered if this was typical behaviour before I flog it? Example:-

Edge 705 Start Up
Hold On/Off Button couple of seconds, then release....3 or 4 seconds pause......then the unit beeps and boots up

Edge 500 Start Up
Hold On/Off Button couple of seconds, then release the unit instantly beeps and boots up

it does more than the 500 so needs thinking time
