Need some help to decide if I need a full suspension bike or not.
I mainly ride on the roads but come this time of year I switch to my spesh rockhopper and hti the local forest for a bit of off road fun. Some small jumps and a few drop off`s but nothing major. The only problem is getting grip on the trails, would I be better off with a full suspension or stick with the hardtail. I am really enjoying the off road and would like to put a bit more time into it, so would a full suspension give more fun also.

Grip ?? have you tried different tyres ? different tyres work better in different conditions..personally I would not spunk of a lot of cash until I knew that XC/Trail centres were my bag...
Yes FS can be more fun and more forgiving but for a decent one your looking at at least £800 and that's second hand....try new tyres and work on your skills first.0 -
^^^^^ + 1 try different tyres alot cheaper than a new bike... and suspension you dont need it to have fun...
